| All right, guess it's time to post another blog. Life is great, and ND
football is on track to go to a BCS bowl. Also, marching band gets done
in a week and a half, so hopefully after that I'll have a little bit of
free time. I'm going to be trying out for Blue Stars this year so maybe
I'll use some of that free time to practice a bit. Hello to everyone in
MN Brass and other people who actually read this- I wish I could have
been at the banquet but obviously I now live 10 hours away.

| After being reminded of the existence of this site by Jesse, I
decided to actually write a blog entry. College is going great,
although it's a lot of work. The Irish are also 3-1 (one loss in
overtime to MSU after a great comeback) but the really big games will
be USC and Tennessee.

| Ok, this is the first update in a while. Well, summer is going pretty
well so far, but I have less than 2 months left of it until I leave for
college. The show season for Minnesota Brass is going by really
quickly! We have a camp this weekend, and then the Stillwater show next
Wednesday, followed by DCM championships in DeKalb, Illinois next
weekend. That should be fun- our first actual trip somewhere. This week
though is pretty boring- we really need to start working on the movie
so we can get it done before I leave. And we need to do car chases and
gun battles instead of just talking scenes.

| Today was the last day of track for just about everyone, even the
people we thought had a chance at state. The team didn't do too well
overall, and lots of people missed state by one place or by a few
hundredths of a second (one sprinter ran 11.08 for the 100, faster than
the standard of 11.10, but it didn't count because of wind). But we had
a fun party after the meet, involving swimming and sitting in the hot
tub (after track nobody cares about screwing up their muscles).
Graduation is tomorrow, and then drum corps camp this weekend, and then
I'm basically free.

| Well sections was today (Kaitie I just saw your comment now, to answer
your question, "yes") and I didn't do that great. But track is done
now, so there's no more pressure which is a good thing. Anyway,
graduation is on Friday, I can't wait!
